Merit™ has been our "workhorse" laundry detergent for many years. Twice as active as most laundry detergents, it attacks dirt & grease & washes it away. Dissolves completely & rinses easily. Safe for use on all fabrics. Gentle on color-fast fabrics. This well balanced formulation contains a select blend of moderately alkaline builders, including phosphates for unequaled particulate soil suspension for no graying.

Directions For Use

  • Sort laundry. For best results, charge washing machine with the detergent and water before adding wash.
  • Household type laundry machine: Everyday soil - 1/2 cup per regular load
  • Industrial type laundry machine: Light soil: 8 oz per 100 lbs in 140 degree F water; Medium soil: 12 oz per 100 lbs in 160 degree F water; Heavy soil: 2 lb per 100 lbs in 160 degree F water.
  • Follow with a clear water rinse.
  • Be sure to close bucket lid each time after use
